Alright, today I am going to post up prayer/praise requests for the project and projects around the world. (I'll be posting up a summary of what I'm up to on Sunday). So, Here goes....
Halifax Project- From Kin Wing Tsui:
Prayer:
Deeper Conversations with Friends: We've been blessed to have started many relationships with people here, and now we would like to take hold of opportunities to present the gospel and discuss with them about it. Pray for meaningful spiritual conversations with our non-Christian friends.
New Contacts: We have done most of our outreaches on campus and in rez, but we would like to take the gospel out to our workplaces and to the city. Pray that we will meet non-Christians in those places.
10 lives changed, 5 students involved: The staff here have set goals for the project - to see 10 people come to Christ and be followed up, and 5 students get involved in the C4C ministry in Halifax this coming year through the project.
Praise:
Jobs: Praise God that 15 out of the 16 projectiles here have officially found jobs; 3 of them, however, are employed by a place that may not have work for them for another few weeks, and they are considering looking for another job. Pray that God will guide them to workplaces that He has prepared for them.
Santiago Project- From Wesley Hynd
Pray for our campus-wide outreach here in Santiago on Monday!!! We're having a huge concert complete with testimonies from Panamanians and Canadians, a Gospel presentation, and the Lifehouse drama performed by our Canadian team and one of the Panamanian leaders here!!! It's going to be intense!!! We're advertising/organizing on very short notice, so pray for students to come, to hear, and to be saved!!!
Also, pray for the students who are stepping up into leadership in the movement here. Pray for them to see God's vision for their campus, to be gripped by it, and for a truly multiplying discipleship chain to explode the movement here!!! God is at work!!!
Calgary Project- From John
The staff have chosen the students that will be taking over the leadership of the project so they can begin to train them before they leave. If you could pray for the new servant team that they would be spirit led and full of the wisdom of God to help them lead the project according to His will that would be great. Also that we would get along well and be able to work effectively and efficiently.This coming Saturday we are going out to do various MDA's so pray that peoples hearts are open and that God has prepared them for us. Also that we wouldn't miss anyone and that we would be filled with courage and boldly proclaim God's word.It's an exciting time and the people here are really great.
Personal Requests
- That I found a part time job at the island beach co.
- That I find another part time job that can work around the two
- I am developping a good, and solid relationship with the Holy Spirit. I will be posting notes on my study soon. Pray that the Holy Spirit and I will develop a good friendship and that I learn to rely on His power more and more.
- Pray that I develop relationships with a non-Christian and see one person come to Christ.
